Southern Indiana’s first live-work-play community; Elevate Office coming to Clarksville 2021
CLARKSVILLE, IN – Southern Indiana’s first live-work-play community is officially under construction in Clarksville, Indiana. Nestled along the river with a view of the Louisville skyline, Bolt + Tie features luxury apartments, restaurant space, office suites, micro-commercial studios, and shared live-work amenities. The community plans to open in the spring of 2021 with pre-leasing starting this fall.
“Woerner Avenue is a historic street and the former home of some of Indiana’s first institutions, such as the American Car & Foundry and Indiana’s first reformatory,” stated A.D. Stonecipher, Clarksville Redevelopment Commission President. “Throughout the Twentieth Century, the area served some of our region’s largest employers in Colgate and Ashland Oil. After sixteen years of dormancy, we are proud to invest Clarksville’s TIF District revenues in the Bolt & Tie property, a name that hearkens back to the avenue’s past success in the train car industry.”
Located at 1400 Woerner Avenue, Bolt + Tie is a four-story mixed-use community that will be home to Elevate Office Suites, micro-commercial studios and restaurant space on the first floor and luxury apartment homes on the remaining floors. Bolt + Tie will offer studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with luxury furnishings and amenities, including a rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen and lounge area overlooking the river.
Elevate Office Suites at Bolt + Tie offers vibrant, professional spaces to do business, and is the perfect place for entrepreneurs, small businesses, the self-employed, and start-ups to be inspired, supported, and productive throughout the day. Elevate Office will include 46 office suites, 23 salon suites, 12 micro-commercial spaces, and a coworking space. To round-out the live-work amenities, Bolt + Tie’s shared professional spaces include two technology-ready conference rooms with video conferencing capabilities, a think-tank, pitch presentation area, mailroom, package lockers and blazing fast WIFI.

Developed by Jeffersonville-based Cornerstone Group with project partners Envoy, Inc., Bolt + Tie is the latest development at Water Tower Square—the 28-acre mixed-use business park with over 30 tenants and 500 employees. The $22 million transformative project joins plans for an Aloft Hotel nearby at the former Colgate building. The Town of Clarksville is also investing more than $6 million in infrastructure improvements.
