Project Update: Taking shape

Construction is coming right along and our live-work-play community is really starting to take shape. It’s been almost a year since demolition started on the Bolt + Tie site in Water Tower Square along the Ohio River, and pre-leasing for apartments and Elevate Office Suites will begin late 2020. Work continues, but let’s take a look at what has been completed to date. 

If you follow us on social media, you’ve likely seen the photos of our four-story work-in-progress. Even under construction, you can appreciate the gorgeous view of the Louisville skyline...but more on that in a minute. 

The roof is on and significant progress has been made on the interior of the building. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fixtures are currently being installed on the first floor and will soon be finished on the second, third and fourth floors. With drywall being hung and finished, the interior apartments are coming right along. Next up...doors, cabinets, trims and casings are all scheduled for delivery in the next couple of weeks. 

The exterior façade is ongoing with brick being installed on all elevations.   

Bolt + Tie project partner, Envoy, is currently coordinating the installation of a Smart Pergola for the rooftop patio. The Smart Pergola system will automatically close and open depending on rainfall, amount of sun, etc. Combined with the grills, fireplace, TVs, outdoor seating, and gaming area, the rooftop patio with amazing views of the Louisville skyline across the river will be your favorite building amenity.
