Life At Bolt + Tie
Life at Bolt + Tie is nothing short of amazing. The connected community created here can fit your lifestyle quite perfectly. You can thrive both professionally and personally all under the same roof. To really show you how you can do this too, let me take you through a day in my life at Bolt + Tie!
To get started, as an entrepreneur it was important for me to find a home that worked with my entire lifestyle. During my apartment search, I found Bolt + Tie and met Kourtney, the property manager. She helped me find the perfect floor plan and I fell in love with The Buckle, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. There were a few things that really stood out to me. The location, the amenities, the community, not to mention an apartment that seems like it was made just for me! It was pretty easy for me to decide that Bolt + Tie was going to be where I called home.
I start my days off bright and early, mainly due to my dog who is clearly much more of a morning person than I am. The nice thing about my apartment is that it’s quite spacious. So much so that my furry roommate has his own bed and area of the apartment. To get the day going, we typically take a walk down Main Street and around Water Tower Square. Once we head back into Bolt + Tie, I reward myself with a warm cup of coffee from the coffee bar and my dog is more than happy to get a treat from the lobby as well.
Thankfully, my commute to work is quick and easy as I use the second bedroom of my apartment as a home office. The Buckle layout is ideal for this. One side of my apartment is for rest and relaxation while I have my office oasis on the other side. You can get a better look at my apartment HERE.
This morning however, I wanted a change of scenery. So, I headed downstairs to Elevate Office on the first floor. As a resident of Bolt + Tie, I get access to the coworking space and conference room hours. It’s a nice added bonus for residents but especially for me as I’m a small business owner, myself! So, when I want to change things up, I’ll work from the coworking space. I’ll either lounge on the sofas or set up at one of the tables. The versatile space allows me to work and be comfortable all at the same time, just like I’m working from home.
One thing that certainly sets Bolt + Tie apart from the other apartments I considered is the access to other entrepreneurs and businesses at Elevate Office! If I want to network and grow my business, I can just do a quick lap around the offices or attend one of the joint networking events hosted in the lobby. Even better, I can easily take care of some errands without even needing to walk out the front doors. Whether I need to get a quick haircut or like today, purchase flowers to congratulate one of my clients, it’s as simple as walking right down the hallway.
Which reminds me of my meeting this afternoon with one of my clients. I was able to reserve one of the conference rooms available to us at Bolt + Tie. Working from home is great but it’s certainly nice that when I meet with clients or host various meetings, I can do that as well.
After I finished my work, I decided to head across the bridge to Louisville to grab dinner. The location at Bolt + Tie is ideal for the explorer! I’m just minutes from all your favorite local spots whether they be in Clarksville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, or Louisville. The opportunities for finding places to eat, drink, and be merry are endless!
By the end of the day, I was pretty excited to sit back and relax with friends. It’s always fun to share the Bolt + Tie experience with my friends. So, I hosted a game night in the club house with foosball, pool, and a few board games. I It’s safe to say we had a great time. If it wasn’t so chilly, we would have definitely been on the rooftop but no problem, that’s what the rooftop summer concert series is for!
Thank you for following me around for the day. If you’re interested in life at Bolt + Tie and are ready to join our community, be sure to contact Kourtney! She’ll be able to help you find your future home and I would love to have you as my neighbor.
